On The Miggy-Wagon

Miguel Cabrera was pretty damn good when he was apparently getting hammered every other night during the season in years past...Now that he is "on the wagon" it should be interesting to see how it effects him...Worked well for him yesterday as he parked 2 HRs...

Sunday is coming fast....get your week 1 picks in!!

What's Your RTTC Strategy

So, how are you gonna pick your players? For the start of this year, do you look and see who finished strong last year? Or do you see who was hot this spring? Do you favor players that are playing in the warm weather or in domes in April? Or do you automatically chose from the teams that will play 7 games that week? Do you go for the sure fire players that hit for average? Or do you go for that guy that may only get 4 hits all week, but 3 leave the yard? Do you pick the player that everyone has on their radar? Or do you go far that guy that for sure no one else will pick, that way in case of a big week, you dont have to share the STUD OF THE WEEK WINNINGS. Do you just pick heads, or do you go tails?

This is the guessing game we all know as Race to the Crown. What I do know, out of the 26 weeks, there WILL be a week or 2 where you only get 2-3 hits, a few of us will go 0-fer. There WILL be a week when someone hits 4-5 HRs, meanwhile it may take some of us to the All-Star break to get 5 HRs. Whatever your strategy...choose wisely. However this season turns out, it will be a fun ride. Remember its a not a sprint, its a marathon.

5 days til Opening Night..get your picks/money in! Will you pick this years Opening Day outburst, ala Tuffy Rhodes?? Good Luck
