The Pirates acquired Craig Monroe this winter and if this spring is any indication, it could pay off. With a little over 2 weeks left in spring training, Monroe has hit the most HRs in the Majors (6). What does this mean?? Probably nothing, but, Monroe had a pretty good run with the Tigers a few yrs back before being shipped off to the Cubbies. Could it be possible that anyone takes a CMo gamble in week 1 coming off a hot spring?? If anyone would, it would be Tiger homer, Ryan Smith...he always was in love with that home run pose......19 days to get your week 1 picks in, also i would recommend becoming a "follower" of this blog, that way I believe you can make sure to be notified of any new postings there may be. Keep recruiting...so far, there are 7 guys that will be competing for Rookie of the Year honors.
