WEEK 15 RESULTS

STUDS OF THE WEEK: Corey Burger, CJ Plymale

.500, 2HR, 5RBI...In the all-star shortened week, these 2 guys made some good ground...there were a bunch of players that had 0HR and 0RBI this week...Plymale now finds himself only 5HRs out of first place...(Google Pic - CJ BURGER)

DUDS OF THE WEEK: Ty Meyer, Eric Prigge

0-9 0HR, 0RBI...the bad part of the short week...you dont get many games to catch up after a bad series..These guys went with Inge...and he has kept the zero's coming since the HR Derby donut he put up...

GETTIN HOT: Plymale...7HRs last 3 weeks...

SLUMPING: Brooks.... .160, 0HR, 2RBI last 3 weeks

WEEK 12 RESULTS

STUD OF THE WEEK: JAY PERSINGER

14-28(.500) 1HR, 1RBI...Usually the stud of the week has big time power numbers, but this week no one had more than 2HRs...also no one came close to Jay's 14 hits, 2 off of the all-time record...He bumped his average up from .285 to .305 going from 24th place to 7th place. (google pic-J Pers)

DUDS OF THE WEEK: TIM G., COWAN, PLYMALE, PRIGGE, CLARK

.261, 0HR 0RBI...This is probably the highest average a Dud will ever get, but, they were the only players to go for 0-0...All 5 of these guys are in the bottom half of the standings in HR and RBI...this week sure didnt help things...

WHERE WE RANK?

BA
Ichiro .372
Hernandez .347
HR
Pujols 28
Brooks 23

HanRam: Big Opener

What a start for a few who picked Hanley Ramirez(Leonard, DaKrauss, Plymale). He went yard and added 5 RBIs. To give you rookies an idea of how big that is...last year if you averaged 5 RBIs per week, you would have taken home 1st place for the year. So, huge start for you 3, now the rest of us can only hope for a strained abdominal for him today.

Also, an FYI, a new rookie joined late yesterday after I sent the picks out. Shawn Herlihy picked Jason Bay.

So that brings this years total # of Racers to an all-time high of 41, with 17 of them competing for Rookie of the Year(which earns you nothing, except for a sweet title).
