Stud of the Week - Tim Guelde

It has been a pretty brutal year overall for Tim G....but this week he salvaged his season with a solo SOTW performance, its his 1st of the season...Unless he can go on a HR binge, its not looking likely he will finish in the top 3 ... DUDS of the Week - Stout, Todd G., Finkes, T Krauss, Curlis, Holbrook, D Rychener, Roach

The early week injury struck again taking out 8 guys this week...6 of the guys picked Big Papi, who has a bad foot (don't think on the DL) and one guy picked J Kipnis, he was placed on the DL on Monday night..The other, Roach, didn't even get a pick in so he went 0-21, really hurting his BA chances...A few of those guys are in the hunt in the season ending awards, so this week was a bad blow to them.

Week 18 and 19 Results

After a 10 day break from reality, I am back and with that comes that last 2 weeks of STUDS AND DUDS...I gotta make this quick...busy day, imagine that...

WEEK 18 STUDS- RYAN SMITH, JARED BINDEL, MICHAEL EMMONS

Congrats, all 3 had a score of 23 with 3 different players...Smittys 4th win, Bindels 2nd, and Emmons 3rd..

WEEK 18 DUDS- TY MEYER, WADE RYCHENER

Both had ZERO for the week as they went with a Pena who didnt play...whoops...I know TY had his mond on other things with his wedding and all, not sure about WR's excuse?? Ty's 4th DUD and Wades 2nd..

RECORD TIED- A number of players tied the weekly At Bat record with 34 in week 18...too bad they only got 9 pts out of that...check the records tab to see who did it

WEEK 19 STUDS - TODD GUELDE, JOEY KAPCAR, ANDY BRINK

All 3 had 22 pts for the week..congrats fellas, Joe you should make your picks after drinking 5 beers by noon more often....This was Todds 3rd STOW, Kapcars 1st, and Brinks 3rd

WEEK 19 DUDS - PUNCHES, KYLE KRAUSS, WILL KELLER

Speaking of drunk picks, that must have been what these guys did this week too...actually 2 of these 3 were on vacation too so that is possible...Actually they all scored 6 pts which is not bad at all for the DOTW...

A side congrats to TY MY on his wedding...a great time was had by all on the beaches of NC

Week 15 Results

STUDS - Biederstedt, Whittlesey, Price

Nice weekend for these 3, as they put up a solid 15..(Cruz)...This is the first time I ever remember the SOTW not hitting a HR...This is P-Diddy Price's 3rd Stud, Biederstedts 2nd and last years MVP, Whittlesey's 1st....he could be making a 2nd half surge...good way to start the 2nd half fellas...(pic- BWP)

DUDS - Sunderman, Smith, Burger, Todd Guelde, Ryan Jones, Prigge, Emmons, Mangas

Not a good weekend for these 8 as they all ended up with only 2 pts....This is Prigges 3rd, Jones, Emmons, Mangas 2nd, and for the rest, this is only their 1st Dud appearence...If there is ever a week to be the DUD, week 15 is it...back to a normal week here in week 16....

STAT OF WEEK THAT MAY ONLY AMAZE ME-

Rob Price batting .267 and has 65 RBIs...

WEEK 6 RESULTS

STUD OF THE WEEK - TODD GUELDE

Guelde was 10/29, 3HR, 8RBI (Zimmerman) for a weekly total of 21...This is Todd's 2nd STUD in the past 3 weeks...His recent push has made him a co-leader in HRs (10) and 2nd in RBIs (31)...His 2 STUD weeks have been big because he picked a player no one else did each time, (which is tough enough to do by itself) which means he doesn't share the winnings..He is the YTD $$ leader at $50...Congrats Guelde...(google pic - tg2)

DUDS OF THE WEEK - E KRAUSS, KAPCAR, D RYCHENER

All 3 guys went 2/14 (Braun) this week for a lousy total of 2...he was sidelined for 3 of the days after getting drilled in the elbow on Monday...part of the luck of RTTC...EKRAUSS drops down to .213...KAPCAR continues his terrible start and is in the cellar at .156..D RYCHENER is still in great shape in all 3 catagories, but missed a chance to increase HR lead as he is still stuck on 10...

STAT OF THE WEEK -

AWW SUNDERMAN is the only player with 3 RBIs in each week so far...consistency is a good thing...

Ryan Zimmerman...3/5, 2HR, 6RBIs....as the Nationals continue to roll, they beat the Rockies 14-6...huge pick this week by Todd Guelde...11 point day for him...could he get his 2nd STUD honor this week???? Find out Monday...

WEEK 4 RESULTS

STUD OF THE WEEK-TODD GUELDE...Todd posted a huge score of 24, going 10-26 with 4HR and 10RBIs to get the $25 pot all to himself(thanks to A. Ethier)...he doubled his yearly total of RBIs from 10 to 20...also raised his average 48 pts to .243...congrats to TG...Google Pic - TG

DUD OF THE WEEK-LEDANIEL MANGAS...Mangas struggled this week, only collecting 3 hits and a RBI for a total of 4...although I do believe Mauer got hurt late in the week, which didn't help anything...good bnews is that he only dropped 17 points in his average down to 21st place...not too bad following a DUD week...

Week 3 Preview

Well, it looks like almost 20% of RTTC world thinks Dustin Pedroia is going to have a big week, as 8 people picked him as this week's top choice....He wasn't picked by anyone in the first 2 weeks of the season...15 new players were selected this week and only 5 players have been picked all 3 weeks...

Top off the radar pick: Carlos Gonzalez...by Todd Guelde....not gonna lie, had to look that one up, but he does seem to be a good player in Colorado...

STUD OF THE WEEK: Ty Meyer

Ty My went for .346 3HR and 6RBIs this week. Last year Ty was in the hunt for the HR Title until about week 24 or so...lets see if he can make another run this season...weeks like this won't hurt. Look for Ty to be a Dud candidate next week as he recent pattern is that he performs well every other week. (PS, the picture above is what comes up when you google TY MY, probably will be a new tradition I do for the Stud of the week.)

DUD OF THE WEEK: Todd Guelde

.091, 0 HR 0 RBIs...who cares though, he just found out that he passed the Bar Exam on Friday. Thank God you did pass it because that would have been tough calling you out as a Dud on RTTC knowing you failed your test, haha. Congrats, now I expect your business card to say RTTC Consultant, in case Selig calls and wants to shut us down.
