Well, spring training is all but done for most teams..a few teams will still play an exhibition today before the start of the season tomorrow...The Tribe is in town today to face off with the Clippers, which pretty much resembles a Clippers intrasquad game..hard to tell which side is the "major leaguers"...oh and its snowing too...sweet
Lets take a look at a snapshot of this years Spring Training results...
Leaders
Hits - E. Almonte, MIL - 32...hit .417...looks like he made the team after being a non-roster invitee
HRs - J. Fox, BAL - 10...wow in 74 ABs too....back up catcher for the O's
RBIs - A. Gordon, KC - 23...
Of those 3, I can only see Gordon picked this year at some point...but who knows..its a long year...lets see if they can keep it up..
Best Spring Record
AL- KC 20-10...makes sense...tons of talent in Minors playing late innings
NL- SF 22-12...makes sense...won it all last year, great pitching
Worst Record
AL - CWS - 11-20....should be an average team this year...+ they added the big donkey
NL - HOU - 11-23...bad
RTTC Predictions
Avg Leader - O/U - .335
HR Leader - O/U - 42.5
RBI Leader - O/U - 135
Thats all for now....ready for the action to start
REMEMBER - If you miss a pick deadline - you will be ineligible for that weeks STUD OF THE WEEK POT, but can still submit a pick late....each day late will equal on 0-3.
Get fee paid by May 1st...if you are late on that, you will be ineligible for the STUD OF THE WEEK POT as well...
