Week 21 Results

We are closing in on the last month of the season, and while I know a lot of people are gearing up for the football season to get going, there is still a lot of $$ on the line in RTTC...still 5 more SOTWs to be given out, along with the 12 season long winners....This weeks winners were....

STUDS OF THE WEEK - Sunderman, Graven, T Krauss, Keller, Pennington, Curlis

They all went w MLBs leading HR hitter (Bautista) and he came up huge for them..10/20, 4 HR, 7 RBIs...21 total...one of the lowest SOTW totals all year...This was Kellers 4th SOTW and leads the HR race w/33....This was Sundermans 3rd SOTW, Graven and TKrauss' 2nd, and Pennington and Curlis both got thier 1st of the year....Pennington stayed on Kellers trail and now has 32 HRs...(pic - 6 pack)

DUDS OF THE WEEK - Tim Guelde

Timmy G went w - Ryan Howard who sucked this week...2-25 is all he could do...Prior to this week he was about 15 pts out of 4th place in BA, but now he dropped from .299 to .288, and is 31 pts out of 4th....He is only 4 HRs out of 4th place w/24, so I expect to see some power hitters picked by him in the last month....This was his 1st DOTW

8/25 Recap

Pick of the Day - Joey Votto, 4/7, 2 HR, 4 RBIs...Huge game by Votto, and did it during a very crazy game for Cincy vs the Giants...That game featured a 10 run comeback, 23 runs, 34 hits, and 6 errors...The Reds just may get it done this yr...

Doug Krauss was the only man w Votto this week, and he got a quick 10 pts last night for it...he is going for his 1st SOTW award...

Cowan is the lone man w Tex this week...he is 1 of 3 players that hasnt been the STUD or DUD yet this year...He has up over 80 RBIs now...

RTTC Pick of the day - Jose Bautista - 2/3, 2HR, 3RBIs....

That gives Sunderman 26 HRs....Graven 23....T Krauss 24...Keller 31....Pennington 30....and Curlis 22....needless to say, this could be a big week for alot of people....Keller and Pennington could quickly make this a 2 horse race for HRs...

STUDS OF THE WEEK - STOUT, C JONES

They both had monster weeks...going 9/27, 4 HR and 13 RBIs...(26 pts- Cano)...This marks Stouts first time in the winner circle and for Jones, it is his RTTC leading (tied w Smith) 4th time as SOTW...Stouty is very much alive in 2 races yet...He is 5th in HRs and 7th in RBIs....CJones is a legot threat for the RTTC triple crown...He is 3rd in BA, 9th in HRs, and leading RBIs with 101...Congrats on the win fellas...(Pic- SJ4)

DUDS OF THE WEEK - BURGER, HERNANDEZ, WILLIAMSON, KELLER

The RTTC jinx struck again...the dreaded Monday night injury....They all pickes ARod and he onl managed 3 ABs...w 0 hits....All4 guys are over .300 on the year, Keller couldnt raise his HR lead at 29, and Burger lost some ground as he is 5th in the RBIs race...tough luck guys...
