Week 5 Recap

Lots of poor results for a lot of people this week, except for...

STUDS OF THE WEEK - Banks - Graven - Rossi - Riether - G Badenhop
All 5 of these guys get there 1st stud of the week award going with Adrian Gonzalez who went 9/28, with 3HRs and 9 RBIs (21 pts)...Banks and Graven who are known to have their own weekly side wagers on RTTC, get to split the $50 5 ways...each get $10...Glenn Badenhop is now in 2nd place in BA at .333, thanks to a lot of the leaders having awful weeks...Graven, Badenhop and Reither are all 5 behind the leader in HRs with 7, and Graven is only 1 RBI off the lead in RBIs with 33. Good week fellas..(Google Pic - 5 guys)

DUD OF THE WEEK - Cowan
Rough week for our man from Minnesota....he went 2/21 via J Heyward...He dropped 43 pts to .297, but is still in good shape overall in BA...he is also in the middle of the pack in the other 2 categories...In his 3rd year, he is trying to make is first all star game, and it looks like his BA is his best bet for that.

Rough week for the BAs...
Only 17 of the 53 players raised their averages this week..and only 7 players are currently over .300, and 11 players are under .220

HRs
T Krauss is on pace for 62 HRs....Will this be the year some one breaks the record of 43 set in 2009. Currently 11 players are on pace for at least 44....

RBIs
T Krauss is also the only player that has had at least 5 RBIs in each week....consistency wins in this league...

5-5 Recap - Bruuuuuuuce

Stud of the Day - Jess Ceritelli

She had 3 hits a HR and an RBI (Bruce) as she continues her hot start...

Berkman hit another HR, who has 10 on the year, 1 behind the ML leader, Alfonso Soriano, who has 11 and is on pace to hit 59....

The Tribe is on fire and Bin Laden is donezo...all is right in America!...to the week 4 results:

Stud of the week - TODD SIGLER

Big week for Todd as he went 11/24 with 2 HRs and 8 RBIs...(Berkman) Its hard enough to be the only person to select a certain player, let alone that player having the best week of anyone...Todd did both and rightfully deserves the $50 week 4 prize...he jumped about 30 pts in Batting Average and now finds himself in 2nd place @ .358 ... He is in the middle of the pack in HRs w 5 now, and 8 off the pace in RBIs with 21...congrats on a great week Todd - (google pic - Sig...ironic pic the week we gun done Osama, love it)

Duds of the week - Dave Krauss and Lyndsay Jones
